Built Tough Construction of North Georgia was created in 2017 and is the result of passion. The company owner and president, Steven T. Giampietro, had a long time vision of providing design and construction services, as one source. Steven is a Licensed Architect and after successfully running his own Architecture Firm for 8 years he felt it was time to live his dream to the fullest. Now, as a Licensed Contractor as well as a Licensed Architect, Steven could dig deeper into the design and construction process to become fully responsible for the built environment. Steven is one of the few persons in the North Georgia area with these unique professional qualifications.

Steven Giampietro, President/Owner

Licensed Architect and Licensed General Contractor who has over twenty five years of experience within the Architectural Design and Construction fields. I am a graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology School of Architecture and I have completed graduate level Construction Management courses at Steven's Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. I have completed many large and small scale Design and Construction projects, meaning I have the capability, knowledge and experience to oversee your project and look-out for your best interests! Our organized construction process approach results in a smooth and efficient construction experience.

Jim Cocco, Project Manager

Early in my career my passion for building and construction allowed me to advance quickly running my own crews. I completed finance courses at Kennesaw State College and Construction Management courses at Southern Polytechnic College. The education I received combined with the extensive construction experience proved to be quite useful as I focused on residential kitchens, baths, additions and decks. One amazing highlight of my career was being approached by Richard Wright, founder and keyboardist for Pink Floyd. My crew and I spend most of the year remodeling his home. I take pride in doing things correctly the first time which results in quality work. This has attributed to my success as a carpenter and construction project manager.
